Saheed Gbolahan Dabiri
DABIRI SAHEED GBOLAHAN – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONER
Dabiri Saheed Gbolahan is an experienced community development practitioner with over 30 years in grassroots service. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (Community Development) from Lagos State University (2000). Over the years, he has worked across several local governments in Lagos State, contributing to the formation and support of Community Development Associations (CDAs) and playing active roles in conflict resolution.
He has also served as a Youth Development Officer, helping out-of-school youths access vocational training and counseling young people involved in drug abuse. Additionally, he has worked extensively in elderly care within various communities.
Currently, he is the Director of Community Development and Head of the Department of Agriculture and Social Services in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government. He is presently the Treasurer of the Nigerian Association of Social Workers (NASoW), Lagos State Chapter.
Mr. Dabiri’s unwavering commitment to community well-being and social justice continues to inspire those around him, making him a highly respected figure in the field of community development in Lagos State.
